Dustin Pickett is a marketing consultant and creative designer who merges business practices and theological principles. A dedicated church boy and millennial, Dustin is committed to discovering how congregations can sustain themselves in the 21st century. He also seeks to help churches understand their positioning from a business perspective while remaining dedicated to their theological missions.
An ordained Baptist minister, Dustin holds a B.S. in Marketing with a Management concentration (2013) from Winston-Salem State University. He also earned a Master of Divinity degree from Duke University with a certificate in Baptist Studies (2016). Currently, Dustin serves as the Senior Individual Gifts Officer at The Riverside Church in the City of New York. At Riverside, Dustin helps craft healthy stewardship practices. Recently, Dustin created a campaign, grounded in spiritual formation, that will encourage members to increase their financial contributions to the church. This will enable Riverside to continue its social mission in the community and abroad.
Dustin has provided strategic support and graphic design for several congregations, nonprofits, institutions and business entities across the country including The Office of Black Church Studies at Duke University, United Holy Church of America, Inc. NC District, and the Anna Julia Cooper Center at Wake Forest University and countless others. He is a results-driven leader and aspires to help individuals and institutions reach their potential with integrity and character.
